The lecture in May was given by Dr Colin Bailey on the
subject of Van Gogh. He traced Vincent’s life as he moved from the Low
Countries to the United Kingdom and to the south of France at Arles. It was
good to see so many of his paintings and to follow the development of his art.
We appreciate Dr Bailey’s visits and look forward to his next talk.
